Ordinances

Water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during this present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as a means of salvation.

Baptism is encouraged for all individuals who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and it shall be administered to believers who request it. The mode of baptism at Center Barnstead Christian Church is immersion.

The Lord’s Supper (Communion) shall be observed to provide three things: A time to look back “in remembrance of me”, to look ahead “until He comes” and to look within “examine himself.” Its participants shall be believers only. This ordinance shall be administered by the Pastor and the church leadership.
