I thought that I had figured out what my blog would be this week. As a matter of fact, I even had much of it written out. Last evening as I got ready to fine tune it and finish it up, for the life of me, I could not find it anywhere on my computer!!! At times I can be kind of slow to catch on, but after spending way too much time looking for it, I was pretty confident that God had something else for me to share with you this week.


Time for me to be transparent: I do believe that God raises up and takes down kings and presidents. I am a total believer in the sovereignty of God. I understand that God will work all things out for our good. I have no doubt that God has totally planned out my life, every day of it. But yet, when I think about the possibility of my candidate losing the presidential race, I must admit, I do feel a little angst come into my soul.

So I write these reminders for me, knowing that next week at this time the voters will have spoken. So in order to get rid of that angst, I will not put my trust in what the voters say next week, I am going to put my trust in what God has said for all eternity. May God’s Word encourage you today, in this very chaotic and unstable world.


Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

I am confident in the fact that no matter what is happening in our country; God is in the midst. So no matter who wins on November 3, 2020, God will not now (or ever) vacate His throne. If you do not have a personal relationship with this God of the universe listen as this song tells His story…
